Heritage | berry showgrounds

The Berry family estate gave sixteen acres of land for the Berry showground. Following the death of the last Berry family member, the estate was broken up and the land was sold to the Land’s Department in 1913. It is now owned by Shoalhaven City Council.

BHI Architects involvement in this project included the upgrading and restoration of Berry Showground Grandstand to include a new meeting room underneath. A new amenities block provided the showground with new facilities while retaining the historic character of the existing buildings. New animal stalls were also provided.
