Interiors | kirkham house

This project involved the renovation of the Kirkham Farm buildings. The site has an area of approximately 12 hectares and houses the heritage listed 1816 Kirkham Stables, believed to be the oldest large stables surviving in NSW. It has previously been used as a dairy, horse stud, a wheat mill and for grazing sheep. Currently it is a residence for grazing beef cattle.

As well as internal refurbishment, there is the addition of a new wing and barn style garage. The new wing includes open plan living/dining/kitchen areas, a glassed walkway and wrap around timber veranda to connect to the existing veranda. The new barn style garage is a double garage and will also have quad bike parking, a mudroom/bathroom and stairs to a loft style attic space.
