The Providence mixed use commercial development located at Rouse Hill consists of a combination of complementary uses which aim to activate a growing Enterprise Corridor precinct. The 4 storey development comprises cafes, commercial offices, recreational facilities such as gym/swimming centre, child care centre facility, industrial/warehouse units and storage units. This range of activities and amenities seek to generate a vibrant, accessible urban centre that meets the growing needs of the Rouse Hill community.
The site planning and design of the buildings aim to create a sense of place and identity in the local community through its planning, architectural expression and sustainability strategies. The architectural expression modulates the façade of the building into 3 parts with a vertical layering from the sandstone base, to the grey clad middle form and recessed green façade above. This provides an urban rhythm through the relationship of mass, voids and architectural elements.
The focus of the development is the central plaza, which directly addresses Annangrove Road, allowing for a strong visual connection throughout the development and a sense of activity from the street. Each precinct within the site has been designed to form an integral part of a range of different activities, making The Providence a local commercial destination.
